Lost Prophets!

Lost Prophets is a Welsh rock band from Pontypridd, formed in 1997. Founded by vocalist Ian Watkins, bassist Mike Lewis, drummer Mike Chiplin and guitarist Lee Gaze, they were originally a side-project to hardcore punk band Public Disturbance.
To date, Lost Prophets have released four albums, most recent released „The Betrayed“ on 13 January 2010. They are also part of the Cardiff music scene.
The band has achieved two top ten hits on the UK Singles Chart ("Last Train Home" and "Rooftops"), one number one single on the Alternative Songs chart ("Last Train Home"), and several Awards and Nominations.

Lost Prophets is most commonly termed nu metal and hard rock. However, a wide variety of influences have been noticed in their music, with other genre tags found at their music including alternative metal, post-hardcore, post-grunge and alternative rock.
Their music aggressive style of rock, blending strong driving guitars, groove and bounce, pop elements and accessibility.

The influence of Heavy Metal, Punk Rock and Pop Music has been noted, but this is various from song to song. Some has also described an emo side to the music. Their music has been praised as powerful, combining softer melodies with aggressive edge, with screamed vocals and catchy riffs. They have been compared to bands like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Hoobastank and Incubus.

The band has also provided guest vocals for other band's songs. Ian Watkins was featured in "Secret" by Amazing Device, "It's High Tide Baby!" by The Blackout, "War" and "Julian" by Goldfinger, and both Watkins and Jamie Oliver were guests in Hoobastank's "Out of Control".

In my opinion this band is a completley different kind of music to most other bands and I realy like that.

I hope you enjoy the music!

RAUNCHY

Raunchy is a metal band from Denmark. Their style is mixed. They got parts from Alternative Metal, Nu Metal, Metalcore, Industrial Metal and since the latest album  melodic death metal is also a part of their music. They call their style: "Futuristic Hybrid Metal". Since the release of their album "Wasteland Discotheque" in the year 2008, you can hear some pop music elements. All in all you can roughly summarize their style in Sub-Genre Neo-Trash. I like the band because they have many melodic parts. And the lyrics are also awesome.

So all in all I can say that you should try it and then rate it.
ENJOY !

Now you get some harder stuff! :D

The band "For Today" is a Christian metalcore band from Sioux City (Iowa). They got a contract with the Californian label "Face Down Records". Since the band was founded in 2005, they released two albums. The Bandname is based on the desire to proclaim the Christian faith to the world. And that in the here and now. The band is mainly known for the constant and energetic live performances. Most songs include a large number of breakdowns. The most texts are about the blatant message of the Christian faith.

For Today - "Saul of Tarsus (The Messenger)"

AlexisOnFire

AlexisOnFire is Post-Hardcore band from St.Catharines,Ontario, Canada.

They got their name from an canadian erotic actress and prostitute called Alexis Fire.
But she never has protected her name so she could not do anything.

The first time they played together was in the year 2001 because three bands were brocken.
In 2002 they published their first EP, called "Math Sheet Demos" (this was the name of the
old  drummer's mathematics book).

The debut album, which cover based on the text off "A Dagger Through the Heart of St.Angeles", was published in the same year. By the backing from "Much Music" the band became popular.

In early 2005 they toured with Rise Against in Europe and Australia and gave several sold-out concerts.

Since they were founded in 2001, they published  3 EP's and 4 album's.

EP's: Math Sheet Demos (2002)
         The Switcheroo Series (2005)
         Dog's Blood (2010)

Album's: Alexisonfire (2002)
               Watch Out! (2004)
               Crisis (2006)
               Old Crows/Young Cardinals (2009)

I hope you now know a bit more about this band.

Enjoy the next track.
